What areas do you service?
We cater to offsite corporate events across Melbourne and can come directly to your chosen venue.
Our travel fee is:
$180 for venues located within 25 km of Melbourne CBD
$250 for venues located more than 25 km and up to 45km from Melbourne CBD
45km and over - price on enquiry
Simply choose your venue, and we’ll bring the painting experience to you. Any venue hire, parking, loading, access or other venue-related costs remain the organiser’s responsibility.
What does Dya Australia provide:
A professional artist facilitator or facilitators
all art materials (depends on the theme)
Aprons
Event setup and pack down
Step-by-step instruction
Your final inclusions will be listed in your booking confirmation.
What does the organiser or venue need to provide?
Unless agreed otherwise in writing, the organiser or venue must provide:
Suitable tables
One chair for each participant
A safe and appropriate event space
Adequate lighting
Access to toilets and amenities
Reasonable access for unloading and loading
Parking or reimbursement of parking costs
Access to water where required
An indoor backup space for outdoor events
Any venue-required permits or approvals
The space and furniture must be ready before our scheduled arrival.
Do you provide tables and chairs?
No. Tables and chairs must be supplied and set up by the organiser or venue unless otherwise agreed in writing. We will bring table covers.
Please ensure the tables are stable and suitable for painting activities.
How much setup and pack-down time do you need?
We generally require approximately:
45 to 60 minutes before the event for setup
30 to 45 minutes after the event for pack down
Larger or more complex events may require additional time.
Venue access must be available at the confirmed arrival time. Delayed access may affect the scheduled start time or require the painting session to be shortened.
How much space do you need?
The venue must provide enough space for every participant to sit and paint comfortably, with clear access for our facilitators.
The layout should include:
Tables and chairs for all participants
Sufficient room for a canvas and painting materials at each seat
Clear walkways between tables
Space for facilitator demonstrations
An area for additional materials and equipment
We can provide layout guidance based on your group size and venue.
Can the event be held outdoors?
Outdoor events may be possible if the location is fully covered, sheltered and suitable for painting.
The area must be protected from:
Rain
Strong wind
Direct sunlight
Excessive heat
Uneven or unsafe ground
Other weather conditions that could affect safety or materials
An appropriate indoor backup location is strongly recommended and may be required.
What happens if it rains or the weather is unsuitable?
The organiser is responsible for providing a suitable indoor contingency space.
Art events may not be able to proceed outdoors during rain, strong winds, extreme heat or other unsafe conditions.
If no suitable alternative space is available, the cancellation, postponement or force majeure provisions in the Offsite Corporate Event Terms and Conditions may apply.
Can we choose the artwork?
Yes. You can select from our corporate artwork catalogue. We offer designs suitable for different team sizes, themes and event formats.
Custom artwork may be available for company branding, campaigns, product launches or special occasions. Additional fees and lead times may apply.
Can beginners participate?
Absolutely. No painting experience is required. Our artists guide participants through the artwork step by step.
Do you supply aprons?
Yes. Aprons are generally included for all confirmed participants. However, acrylic paint may still stain clothing, so participants should wear suitable clothing and closed shoes.
Can we include other team-building activities?
Yes. The art session can often be incorporated into a broader event that includes:
Conferences
Strategy days
Training sessions
Awards
Presentations
Networking
Christmas parties
Staff celebrations
Please provide your proposed run sheet in advance so we can confirm that the timing is practical.
Do you provide music or audio equipment?
Music and audio equipment are normally included. We have small PA speakers with a mic we can bring.
The organiser or venue should provide any required:
Screens
Projectors
Presentation equipment
Please let us know if the painting demonstration needs to work around an existing audiovisual setup.
Do you need access to power?
Power is not always required for the painting activity, but access may be helpful depending on the venue, lighting and event arrangements.
Please tell us about any restrictions relating to power, lighting or equipment access before the event.
Do you need access to water?
Access to a nearby water source may be required for setup, painting activities and cleaning equipment.
Please confirm the location of the nearest suitable water source before the event.
Can you work around our event schedule?
Yes. We regularly coordinate painting sessions around:
Conferences
Training sessions
Meal breaks
Presentations
Awards ceremonies
Networking activities
Please provide the full event run sheet and any fixed timing requirements as early as possible.
What if the venue has paid parking?
Any parking fees, loading fees, access fees or venue charges associated with delivering the event are the organiser’s responsibility unless otherwise stated in writing.
Where possible, please reserve a convenient loading area or parking space close to the event room.
What venue access do you require?
Our team requires safe and timely access to the event space for unloading, setup and pack down.
Please provide details about:
Parking
Loading zones
Building access
Security procedures
Lift access
Stairs
Long walking distances
Sign-in requirements
Venue contact details
Unexpected access difficulties may result in delays or additional charges.
Can participant numbers change?
Please notify us as soon as possible if your numbers change.
Final numbers must be confirmed by the deadline in your booking confirmation and Offsite Corporate Event Terms and Conditions.
Charges may be based on the confirmed minimum spend or final number provided, even if fewer participants attend on the day.
What happens if the venue is not ready?
The event space, tables and chairs must be fully set up before our team arrives.
If the venue is not ready or our access is delayed, we may need to:
Start the event late
Shorten the painting session
Modify the planned artwork
Charge for additional waiting time
Finish at the original scheduled end time
Please ensure the venue coordinator understands the access and setup requirements.
Can we provide food and beverages?
No. Food and beverages should be arranged so they do not interfere with painting materials or facilitator access. The organiser is responsible for catering, service, rubbish removal and compliance with venue or licensing requirements.
Can alcohol be served?
Alcohol may be served if permitted by the venue and applicable licensing requirements.
The organiser and venue are responsible for the responsible service of alcohol, participant behaviour and compliance with all legal requirements.
Can you travel interstate?
Interstate events may be available by arrangement.

Meals or incidentals

Do you have public liability insurance?
Yes.
Dya Australia carries Public Liability Insurance. A Certificate of Currency can be provided upon request where required by the venue.
Any special venue insurance requirements must be disclosed before the booking is confirmed.
Who is responsible for damage or cleaning?
Participants are expected to follow the facilitator’s instructions and take reasonable care of the venue and equipment.
The organiser may be responsible for damage, excessive cleaning or additional charges caused by participants, venue conditions or failure to follow the agreed setup requirements.
What is your cancellation or postponement policy?
Cancellation, postponement, credit and refund conditions are outlined in the Offsite Corporate Event Terms and Conditions.
Please review these conditions carefully before confirming your booking.
What happens during extreme weather or other emergencies?
If an event cannot proceed because of severe weather, natural disaster, government restriction, venue closure or another circumstance outside either party’s reasonable control, the force majeure provisions in the Offsite Corporate Event Terms and Conditions will apply.
Depending on the circumstances, we may discuss rescheduling, credit or another reasonable alternative.
