ROOM & ACCESS

  • One dedicated workshop space is required for the full duration of the session.

  • The room should comfortably accommodate all participants with adequate lighting, table and seating space.

  • Please advise in advance if there are stairs, lift restrictions, loading dock procedures, security check-in requirements, or long-distance equipment transport.

  • Wet areas/sinks are strongly recommended for painting workshops.

SETUP & SESSION FLOW

  • Dya facilitators require access to the venue 45–60 minutes prior to the workshop for setup.

  • Participants should arrive shortly before the scheduled start time to ensure sessions begin promptly.

  • Workshops run according to the agreed schedule, including any planned breaks.

  • Please allow approximately 30–45 minutes after the session for pack down.

  • Changes to room layout or workshop timing on the day may affect delivery and session flow.

STAFFING & FACILITATION

  • Workshops are facilitated by one Lead Dya Facilitator.

  • Additional Dya facilitators may attend depending on group size and workshop format.

  • Our facilitators guide the creative process, timing and engagement throughout the session to ensure a consistent experience.

  • No artistic experience is required for participants.

MATERIALS & EQUIPMENT

Dya provides:

  • All art materials

  • Aprons

  • Table protection (as needed)

The client is responsible for providing:

  • Tables and chairs

  • Access to the booked workshop space

  • Standard venue lighting and power if required

COMMUNICATION

  • Final workshop logistics should be confirmed at least 3 business days before the event.

  • Please notify us of any changes to:

    • Participant numbers

    • Venue location

    • Room allocation

    • Access or loading instructions

    • Parking arrangements

    • Session timing

    • Special accessibility requirements

PARKING & ACCESS

  1. Where possible, please reserve convenient parking close to the venue for equipment unloading.

  2. If paid parking applies, please advise beforehand so suitable arrangements can be made.

PARTICIPANT SUPPORT

  1. We encourage participants to wear comfortable clothing.

  2. Aprons are provided, although clothing that can tolerate occasional paint marks is recommended.

  3. We welcome active participation from everyone and design workshops to suit all skill levels.

  4. Please advise us prior to the event of any accessibility or inclusion requirements so we can accommodate participants appropriately.
